For years, Blank Longboards offers affordable and very well made longboards. The new model "Ultraflex" (38" x 8.5") is as the name suggests, a so-called flex deck. The shape is slightly convex, and very flexible. Under the weight of the skater it bends slightly downwards. The ride feel on a flex deck is much softer. When carving on the street, you feel like you're riding waves on a surfboard. When cruising in the city, it's especially noticeable how well it absorbs cross grooves, bumps and flat curbs. The board is made of 5-ply maple wood and 2 additional fiberglass layers. Fiberglass layers are responsible for the tremendous flexibility.
