Blank Decks – Same Quality, Fair Price, Free Griptape

Grab your new blank deck here – a full-blown skateboard deck with no brand graphic on the bottom, at a noticeably better price. Every blank deck ships with free griptape and goes out the same day. Technically a blank is no different from a classic pro deck: same Canadian maple, same pop, the same woodshops – you just skip the surcharge for the artwork.

What Is a Blank Deck?

A blank deck is a skateboard deck with no print on the underside. Everything else is identical to a branded deck: cold-pressed Canadian maple, clean concave, lively pop. Plenty of blanks roll off the line in the very same factories as the big-name decks – you simply do not pay for the logo. If you feel the wood under your feet and do not care about the graphic, a blank deck is the cheapest way to skate.

Bold Laminates and Control – Our Two Woodshops

We carry blank decks from two different woodshops so you can pick by budget and demand:

  • Bold Laminates7 plies of Canadian maple, cold-pressed. Made in one of the largest skateboard factories around, where world-famous brands have their decks pressed too. An honest deck at a fair price – our long-runner for over 10 years.
  • Control – built right in Quebec, Canada, the home of maple. A touch pricier but seriously durable: the pop stays alive after weeks and that dead, worn-out feel shows up much later. For anyone who does not want mass production.

Which Size? Shapes and Widths

Our blank decks come in every common width from 7.0" to 8.5". Rule of thumb: narrow decks (7.0–7.75") are nimble and great for technical flatground and street, wide decks (8.0–8.5") give you more stance for transition, ramp and pool. Why Blank Decks? Bang for Your Buck

A deck is a wear part. Skate a lot and you tear through several boards a year – across ten decks, the gap between a pricey pro deck and a blank easily adds up to a trip to Barcelona. That is exactly why we have kept blanks in the range for years: so you can skate as much as you want without emptying your wallet every time. Want it ready to roll? Care and Durability

Keep your blank deck dry – moisture is the worst enemy of maple and swells the plies. Do not leave it baking in a car or sitting in a damp basement. When the pop fades, the tail is skated through or the board starts to delaminate, it is time for a fresh one. Matching griptape comes free with every deck.

FAQ

Are blank decks worse than branded decks?
No. Material and build are comparable – often from the very same woodshops. You only save on the graphic.

Is griptape included?
Yes. We add matching griptape free with every blank deck.

Which size should I get?
For street and tech 7.75–8.0", for transition and more stance 8.25–8.5". When in doubt, 8.0" rarely lets you down.

Bold Laminates or Control?
Bold Laminates is the affordable all-rounder, Control the longer-lasting deck from Canada. Both have clean pop.
