DGK Skateboards - Schmutzige Ghetto Kinder

DGK Skateboards ist eine relativ junge Skateboard-Company aus Philadelphia. DKG Skate steht für "Dirty Ghetto Kids". Die Grafiken von DGK bestehen zumeist aus Graftiti und Tag Styles, und eine gute Portion Bling-Bling darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Die Qualtiät der Skateboards ist sehr überzeugend, die Shapes ausergewöhnlich gut. Firmengründer Stevie Williams hat ein Skate Team aufgebaut, das sich wirklich sehen lassen kann. Das DGK Skateboards Team besteht derzeit aus: Marcus McBride, Jack Curtin, Lenny Rivas, Wade Desarmo, Evan Hernandez und natürlich dem Firmengründer Stevie Williams selbst. Auf der Website werden aktuell noch weitere Fahrer genannt.

Die Story von DGK Skateboards

2012 enthüllte Stevie Williams, daß die Idee von DGK "wirklich aus dem Nichts kam". Das Unternehmen baute auf der Marke Gold Skateboard Wheels auf, die er zusammen mit seinem guten Freund Eli Soto besaß.

Auszeichnungen von DGK

Das DGK-Team wurde bei den 15. jährlichen Transworld SKATEboarding Awards für die Auszeichnung "Bestes Team" ausgewählt. Es wird vom Transworld SKATEboarding Magazin produziert. Die Auszeichnung folgte einem sechzehnseitigen Artikel in der Ausgabe vom April 2012.
