FUA Industries
FUA Industries is a German underground skate brand from the Dortmund/Lünen area, founded in 2003 out of frustration with corporate economics and mainstream branding strategies. Today FUA stands for an independent skateboard catalog with an unmistakable politically-charged look: animal decks (Panda, Koala, Buffalo, Elephant, Lion), political editions (Trump, Putin, Kim) and collabs with German street artist einsA ce.
Heritage — out of the Ruhr-Valley underground
FUA Industries launched in June 2003 as an independent trend-sport label from the Dortmund area. The founders are upfront about how the brand came to be: no mainstream strategy, no investor pitch — just a direct reaction to the streetwear market of the time. For more than 20 years FUA has shipped decks, completes and hardware out of Germany's Ruhr region with graphics that are statement-driven instead of safe.
Which FUA products fit which skater?
- FUA Animal Decks — the brand's core. Buffalo (blue, red, green), Elephant (green, turquoise), Lion (yellow), plus the Koala and Panda lines (also kids skateboards in 7.3 inch). Classic popsicle shapes, 7-ply North American maple.
- FUA Political Editions — statement decks Trump, Putin, Kim. With a clear ironic edge. Available as decks or complete boards.
- FUA Pope it — standalone deck line. Complete or bare deck.
- FUA x einsA ce Collabs (Hellcat, Panda, Koala) — collaboration with German artist einsA ce. Decks and complete boards.
- FUA Kids Skateboards — Panda and Koala in 7.3 inch. Reduced concave, lighter trucks, pre-built.
What sets the brand apart
FUA Industries doesn't copy a US lifestyle look — it builds a deliberately independent German skate identity. The political graphics (Trump/Putin/Kim) aren't a marketing gag, they're the brand's line. If you want a deck with a stance and a German brand with its own voice, this is the place. Pairs well with Independent trucks and Bones or Spitfire wheels.
