The Powell-Peralta Chris Hiett Skull Flight Deck combines a legendary skateboard brand with state-of-the-art technology and a unique design. This deck is not only a work of art, but also a real performance wonder.
The deck is part of the Flight® Deck series and is therefore thinner, lighter and stronger than conventional 7-ply decks. The specially developed construction of seven thin layers of US hard rock maple and a layer of glass fiber, which are pressed with epoxy resin, makes it extremely resistant. It retains its pop significantly longer and breaks less quickly.
The striking artwork comes from skateboard legend Vernon Courtlandt Johnson (VCJ) and is the first pro graphic for Chris Hiett. The motif of a skeleton jumping out of a music box symbolizes breaking out of conventions and the search for one's own authenticity.
