The Ace AF1 Inverted Baseplate is the ultimate solution to tune your Ace AF1 trucks and prevent the most common kingpin problems. This set allows you to easily and effectively convert your standard AF1 trucks to an "inverted kingpin" (inverted kingpin) standard.
The inverted kingpin is compatible with the kingpin nut, which means it cannot be worn or damaged during grinding. In addition to a cleaner look, this innovative solution ensures a much more durable and stable setup. The set contains all the necessary parts to convert your trucks and optimize your driving experience.
The main difference lies in the kingpin and its position. While the normal Ace AF1 axle has a solid kingpin that protrudes beyond the kingpin nut, the "inverted" version comes with a hollow kingpin that is flush with the baseplate.
Kingpin protection: When grinding (e.g. Smith), the kingpin of the normal axle rubs against the curb or rail and can become worn or damaged, which in the worst case can lead to breakage. The inverted kingpin, on the other hand, is fully protected.
