EMERICA
Emerica skate shoes — from Andrew Reynolds to the Wino G6. At Skateshop24 you'll find vulcanized and cupsole models — Reynolds Low Vulc, Wino G6, Pillar, Dickson and Tilt. Built for technical tricks, bombing stairs and your daily cruise. Shipping in 1–2 working days.
Heritage — Sole Tech and the Reynolds Factor
Emerica was founded in 1996 as a sister brand to etnies and éS Footwear under the Sole Technology umbrella. The mission was simple: skate shoes by skaters, for skaters. No hype, no lifestyle dressing — just boards, feet, griptape.
The pro team has been the brand's DNA from day one. Andrew Reynolds (also boss of Baker Skateboards) has been quasi co-brand identity since the early 2000s — his style helped define the modern vulcanized look. Add Heath Kirchart, Ed Templeton, Bryan Herman, Leo Romero, Kevin "Spanky" Long, Brandon Westgate and Collin Provost. Today Jon Dickson, Justin "Figgy" Figueroa and Reynolds himself still ride for the team.
Which Emerica Model for Which Skater?
Rule of thumb: vulcanized for board feel, cupsole for impact protection. Emerica covers both.
- Wino G6 — vulcanized sole, slim silhouette, excellent board feel. Daily-beater for flatground, ledges and technical street. Suede upper.
- The Reynolds Low Vulc — Andrew Reynolds pro model. Vulcanized, padded tongue, reinforced toecap. Made for skaters who pop hard.
- Pillar — cupsole, robust, with STI Foam cushioning. For bombing stairs and dropping gaps.
- Dickson — Jon Dickson pro model. Mid-top, cupsole, focused on support and durability.
- Tilt — all-rounder with a vulc sole and a clean silhouette. Works just as well in your daily fit.
Construction and Materials
Emerica goes with suede almost across the board — it tears through griptape much slower than canvas. Triple-stitch seams at the ollie zones are standard. STI Foam insoles (Sole Tech in-house) absorb drops; vulcanization gives you the thin, flexible sole profile you need to flip. No gimmicks.
What Pairs Well with Emerica?
Emerica riders mostly come from the Baker Boys side of the world. Check out Baker Skateboards, Deathwish and Shake Junt hardware — same family, same vibe. Browse the full skate shoe lineup for more options; matching apparel in T-shirts and Hoodies.
FAQ
Vulcanized or cupsole — which one?
Vulcanized (Wino G6, Reynolds Low Vulc) for board feel and technical tricks. Cupsole (Pillar, Dickson) if you drop a lot or bomb stairs. Most skaters keep both in the closet.
Which Emerica is best for beginners?
Wino G6 or Tilt — vulc sole, medium thickness, suede upper. You don't need a pro setup for your first ollie. Just stay away from canvas.
How fast is shipping?
Orders placed before 2 pm on weekdays go out the same day. Delivery within Germany usually takes 1–2 working days.
