Opera Skateboards is the brand founded in 2023 by Bill Weiss (skate industry veteran, ex-Madness) under the Sidewalk Distribution umbrella — born from the collapse of Dwindle. Weiss teamed up with Louie Barletta (ex-Enjoi), Bod Boyle and Steve Douglas to build Sidewalk Distribution, which carries Opera alongside Slappy Trucks and Jacuzzi Unlimited.

After the collapse of Dwindle Distribution (long-time home of Enjoi, Madness, Blind, Cliché), Bill Weiss launched Sidewalk Distribution in 2023. Opera is his own brand inside that structure.
