Damned Skateboards
Damned Skateboards is a skater-owned brand from the south of Austria (Carinthia), founded in 2019 by Jan Ruppnig and Lado Bajic. Slogan: "Just Another Skateboard Company" — or in their own version, "Damned Since Day One". The catalog ranges from pro decks and the FS city series (London, Paris, New York, Peking) to complete boards and a dedicated kids' line.
Heritage — out of the local Carinthian skate scene
Damned was founded in 2019 out of the Carinthian skate scene with one clear goal: build a brand with European output instead of being yet another reseller of US licenses. The FS city series (frontside city names) and decks like "Fiddler" or "#alldayjuicy" carry the DNA of the scene around Klagenfurt, Villach and Graz.
Which Damned products fit which skater?
- Damned FS-Series Decks — four city editions (FS London, FS Paris, FS New York, FS Peking) as decks and complete boards. Classic popsicle shapes in 7-ply North American maple.
- Damned Pro Decks — models like Fiddler and #alldayjuicy. Solid standard-concave deck for street and park.
- Damned Kids Skateboards — models like Sharky, Draco Ventum, Lost, Blood Oath, Draco Aquarius in 7.3 inch width. Beginner-friendly with restrained design, no 80s kids-board aesthetic.
- Damned Complete Skateboards — FS city decks pre-built with standard trucks, ABEC bearings and 99A wheels. For riders who don't want to spec it themselves.
FAQ
Who founded Damned Skateboards?
Jan Ruppnig and Lado Bajic founded Damned in 2019 in the south of Austria (Carinthia).
What does "FS" mean in the Damned FS series?
FS is skate slang for "frontside" (rotation direction). Damned named the FS edition as a nod to cities: FS London, FS Paris, FS New York, FS Peking.
Are Damned decks good for beginners?
Yes. Standard 7-ply maple, normal concave, classic 7.3–8.5 inch widths. For absolute beginners we'd suggest the kids skateboards (Sharky, Lost) in 7.3 inch or a complete board from the FS series.
What pairs well with Damned decks?
Trucks from Independent and wheels from Spitfire or Bones are the standard combination — matches the European skate scene around them.
How fast does Damned ship?
Everything ships from our Giessen warehouse in 1–2 business days. Drop us a line if you need help with deck size or setup.
