BAKER
Baker Skateboards is the US skate brand founded in 2000 by Andrew "The Boss" Reynolds and artist Jay Strickland — one of the most iconic brands of the modern street-skating era. The black-and-red brand logo deck appears in countless skate videos and across the Tony Hawk Pro Skater game series. Today the roster carries heavyweights like Reynolds himself, Dustin Dollin, Bryan Herman, Justin "Figgy" Figueroa and Kader Sylla.
Heritage — from Lakeland, Florida via Birdhouse to Baker
Andrew Reynolds (born 1978, Lakeland, Florida) started skating at nine, came into Tony Hawk's view through local contests and rode for Birdhouse for years. In 2000 he co-founded Baker with Jay Strickland — a brand built to express skater-owned identity and crew spirit. Long-time filmer Beagle has been documenting the unmistakable Baker look in the team videos for years.
