Heritage
Heritage is the reissue line that brings classic 80s and 90s skateboard graphics back into circulation — rooted in the Dwindle Distribution world (Steve Rocco's long-time distro home). The catalog includes re-releases from 101 Skateboards (Natas Kaupas, McNatt), Sub Zero, Underworld Element (the pre-Element era), Real Life, 411VM and more. If you want a board from your teenage years back under your feet — or skate history on your wall — you're in the right place.
Heritage — why reissues exist
Original decks from the 90s have become rare and expensive. An OG 101 Natas "Devil Worship" sells in four-figure territory on eBay today. Dwindle launched the Heritage series to make those graphics accessible again — often with the same shape specs as the originals (old-school decks, wider boards, smaller noses). The first Heritage release wave: 101 classics (Natas "Devil Worship", Gabriel Rodriguez "Jesus") plus Cliché tribute models. Sub Zero, Real Life, Underworld Element and 411VM decks followed.
Which Heritage series fits which collector or skater?
- Heritage Sub Zero (SZ) — reissues of 90s Sub Zero decks. Models like Real Life, Fred Gall, Matt Reason, Love Park. Old-school shapes, screen-printed.
- Heritage Underworld Element (UE) — decks from the pre-Element era (Underworld Element later became Element). Models like Pang "Guaranteed Fresh", Howell "Boomin System", "Mugshots", "OG Logo", Graffiti Scrapbook.
- Heritage ZS / Z Sk8 era — classics in the style of the 80s Texas skate scene. Models like Knife Kid, Head Logo, Suzi Spraycan.
- Heritage 101 — griptape with iconic graphics (Natas Sock Puppet, McNatt Star Of Satan, Bel Paese, Balloons). From the Steve-Rocco-/Natas-Kaupas era.
- Heritage videos & magazines — "Our Story" series — Sub Zero Real Life as VHS-on-USB stick (real VHS aesthetic on USB), magazines covering Sub Zero, Underworld Element and Zero Sophisto history. Mandatory for skate-history nerds.
- Heritage Curb Wax — Sub Zero Butter Wax. Classic curb wax with vintage graphics.
Who rides Heritage reissues?
Heritage decks aren't built around a specific team — they're graphic classics ridden by anyone who lived through the original era or simply digs 90s skate pop culture. For actual riding, the old-school shapes suit cruiser, pool and vert setups better than modern street — many Heritage decks are wide (8.50 to 9.00 inch) with classic nose/tail geometry. For park and pool they pair well with Independent trucks and Bones wheels.
FAQ
What is Heritage Skateboards?
A reissue line out of the Dwindle Distribution world that sells classic 80s/90s skateboard graphics as licensed re-releases — from 101 to Sub Zero to Underworld Element.
Are Heritage decks originals or reissues?
Reissues. Original 90s decks are collector items priced in the four-figure range. Heritage decks are brand-new boards with the original graphics — made for skating or hanging on a wall.
Is Heritage part of Dwindle?
Heritage is a reissue program out of the Dwindle Distribution world. Dwindle was founded in 1997 by Steve Rocco, sold to Globe in 2002 and passed to Highline Industries in 2019.
Can I actually skate Heritage decks?
Yes — they're brand-new 7-ply maple boards. But: many Heritage decks are wide old-school shapes that suit cruiser, pool and vert better than modern street. For street look at 8.0–8.25" — see modern skateboard decks.
How fast does Heritage ship?
Everything ships from our Giessen warehouse in 1–2 business days.
