This is where the reduced clothing sits: hoodies, jumpers, T-shirts, longsleeves, shirts, trousers and jackets. The Dudes, Parlez, HUF, Emerica, NNSNS and Baker are in here regularly – exactly what is available changes with every collection that runs out.

Why things end up here

Almost always for one of three reasons: the collection is done, one colour sold more slowly than the others, or only the edge sizes are left. None of that changes the quality – a hoodie from last season is the same hoodie.

Judging leftover sizes properly

A full size run is rarely available in the sale, so it pays to look at the cut rather than just at the label:

• Hoodies and jumpers are usually worn deliberately loose in skating. If you are unsure, go a size up rather than down.
• T-shirts and longsleeves come up noticeably differently from brand to brand. Compare the measurements on the product page with a shirt that fits you.
• Trousers go by waist size in inches. If in doubt, measure a pair you like wearing instead of trusting the label size.
